Executive Bios

Charged with leading the overall strategic and business direction of the company, Diana brings vast leadership and management experience to her role as president. Formerly the head of DMM Consulting, Inc. in Parkland, FL, Diana worked with industry executives improving transaction services, developing business and product strategies and creating operational efficiencies.

Prior to that, Diana was chief operating officer for Chase Merchant Services where she oversaw all aspects of the strategic and daily operations from technical solutions to account implementations and association compliance. She also directed the customer service group, responding to the needs and issues of national merchants.

Diana held sales and sales management positions at First USA Merchant Services, First Bankcard Center of First National Bank of Omaha, and NCR Credit Corporation.

Diana is a member of the Visa Acquirers Executive Council and MasterCard's Acquirer Committee. Diana serves as president-elect of W.net (Women Networking in Electronic Transactions). She also chairs the Strategic Leadership and Networking Forum and sits on the Industry Relations Committee of the Electronic Transaction Association. Diana is president of the board of directors of Omaha's Rose Theater and serves on the Program Committee of the YWCA. Diana holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and finance from Western Illinois University.

Mike Leatherman leads First National Merchant Solutions' sales channels and business development strategies.

Previously, Mike was director of corporate administration for First National Bank of Omaha overseeing commercial lending operations, credit administration and credit analysis. During his tenure at First National, Mike also served as director of corporate banking and team leader of corporate banking.

A 16-year veteran in the financial services industry, Mike also held several business development and senior management positions at Fifth Third Bancorp, General Electric Capital and Robert Half International, Inc.

Mike holds a bachelor's degree in finance, banking and corporate communications from Buena Vista University. He has served on the boards of Camp Fire USA and American Lung Association. Currently he serves on the Strategic Leadership and Networking Forum Program Planning Committee for the Electronic Transaction Association.

As COO, Vic is responsible for day-to-day operations including new account boarding, terminal deployment, merchant training, customer service, chargebacks, merchant technical support, association compliance, vendor management, project management and Six Sigma. He also serves as general manager of the small business portfolio.

Vic is an 11-year veteran of the merchant acquiring and financial services industries, having led operations, process improvement and business integration efforts. He held senior management positions with First Data Corporation, General Electric and Lloyds TSB. He is a Six Sigma Master Black Belt.

Before his work in the financial industry Vic was a Lieutenant in the United States Navy.

Vic holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York.

Brian leads First National Merchant Solutions' client services, portfolio management and product development teams, all charged with delivering superior customer service to our  customers.

Brian joined the Management Trainee program at First National Bank in 1990. In 1996, Brian joined the Merchant division as vice president of accounting after working as a project manager and  director of product development for an international banking project and card registry.

In 1999 Brian took charge of five operational departments overseeing  Y2K operational preparations and implementing changes to improve product offerings to customers.  

Brian sits on the Visa Processors Roundtable and is an adjunct professor at Nebraska Wesleyan University. Brian is a past recipient of the Light of Wellness Award and is an active tri-athlete and marathon runner. He has two master's degrees and is a youth soccer and basketball coach.

Scott joined First National Merchant Solutions in June 2007 when the Prepaid Solutions team he headed at parent company First National Bank of Omaha combined resources with the Merchant Solutions division. As vice president, Scott is responsible for development and deployment of First National Merchant Solutions' prepaid card issuing and prepaid program management solutions.

Scott initially joined First National in 1993 as a service representative and was named marketing manager of national acquisition in 1994. He joined First Data Resources' business development team in 1997, and returned to First National in business development in 1998. He was named vice president of First National Bank's smartOne Prepaid Solutions in 1999.

Scott holds a bachelor's of science in Business Administration from University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He is also an active community volunteer serving the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, American Cancer Society, the Celiac Sprue Research Foundation and Aldrich Elementary School.

Jim Morin was named vice president of product management and marketing in 2008. He brings nearly 30 years of experience in the technology and credit card industries to his position, and is responsible for strategic planning; development and management of First National Merchant Solutions' product portfolio; and development and expansion of the division's international payment solutions.

During his career, Jim has held senior manager and leadership positions around the world with IBM, leading sales and development efforts that included deploying a global payments system, managing global payment operations, and leading control, compliance and process improvement projects.

Jim earned a bachelor's of science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.

Kala leads a staff of attorneys and support personnel  who are responsible for First National Merchant Solutions' legal operations, including contracts, regulatory compliance, intellectual property rights, internal and external audit coordination.

Kala began her career at FNMS in 1999 as a staff attorney. Previously she held professional positions at Union Pacific Railroad, the Creighton Legal Clinic and as a law clerk for deceased Douglas County District Court Judge Michael W. Amdor.

A graduate of Creighton University School of Law, Kala also received her bachelor's degree and business certification from Creighton University. She was admitted to the bar of the State of Nebraska and the United States District Court for the District of Nebraska in September 1997. Kala is a member of the executive committee of the Nebraska Bar Association, Corporate Counsel Division.

George Chadwick leads First National Merchant Solutions' accounting and finance departments and assists in the development and execution of the organization's long-term business strategies. He was named vice president and chief financial officer in February 2008 and joined FNMS in 2003 as vice president controller.

A 20-year veteran in the financial services industry, George has held senior management positions with Voda One Corporation, Inacom Corporation and Duncan Aviation, Inc.

George earned his MBA from Texas A&M University and a bachelor's in accounting from the University of LaVerne.
